We’re Building something different.
Spanish didn’t need saving in our childhood homes. It lived in our kitchens, our car rides, our bedtime stories, in the way love sounded. But raising kids in the U.S., that inheritance can feel fragile.
Pato Pato exists to change that.

A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER
Pato Pato was born from one big dream: raising kids who speak, think, and dream in Spanish.
​
As a Latina mom raising two boys here in the U.S., I searched everywhere for hands-on tools that would help me pass it on, and came up empty. What I found instead were flashcards, screens, and translations that treated Spanish like an extra…not a foundation.
​
So I built what we needed.
​
Pato Pato creates educational, play-based tools that support real, deep language learning: phonics, early reading, comprehension, and advanced concepts. Not just vocabulary. No awkward translations. No screens. Just open-and-go tools that fit into real life and empower parents to raise Spanish-first kids.

But just as importantly, Pato Pato exists to remind you that they are not doing this alone. You don’t need to be a teacher or a perfect speaker to raise a Spanish-first child. You just need the right tools, a little guidance, and the confidence that what you’re doing matters.

Because this isn’t just about teaching a language. It’s about championing the parent who refuses to let it fade...and making sure what raised us lives on in our kids.
